There might be some very good reasons why the records are so screwy that they are basically useless, but there is no reason for Irene not to explain what she could in her autobiography. How does she go from being Hungarian to Polish? Who are the Lewins? Why did Segelstern become Seigelstein?

Looks to me like Irene is the wife of one of the Lewin brothers? So let me work this out, her childhood name would be Speigelstien, she married before she came to America to a man named Lewin, we don’t know who Weisberg is, and Zisblatt would be her current husband?
